Fill in your details to request a free, no-obligation survey. An Octopus Energy engineer will visit your property to assess its suitability, measure your roof (for solar) or heating system (for heat pumps), and provide a tailored quote. There is no obligation to proceed.
If you're installing a heat pump, Octopus Energy will handle the Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS) grant application on your behalf. This provides £7,500 off the cost of an air source or ground source heat pump. You simply pay the reduced amount — Octopus does the paperwork.
Review your personalised quote and, if you're happy to proceed, accept it and pay the deposit. Octopus will then schedule your installation date at a time that suits you. For solar installations, a £500 non-refundable deposit is required on signing.
On the agreed date, a team of Which? Trusted Trader-verified Octopus engineers will install your system. For solar, this includes mounting the panels, fitting the inverter, connecting to your smart meter, and commissioning the system. For heat pumps, this includes installing the outdoor unit, connecting to your heating circuit, and commissioning. All electrical work, scaffolding and grid connection paperwork is handled by Octopus.
Once your installation is complete and commissioned, Octopus Energy sends your £100 gift card by email. You can choose from a wide range of popular UK retailers including Amazon, M&S, IKEA, Air BnB, TK Maxx, Costa and many more. The gift card is typically delivered within a few weeks of installation completion.
